The website is designed so the optional Meta Pixel is not installed until a visitor selects “Accept analytics”. Choosing “Essential only” keeps the public website usable without activating optional measurement.
Essential storage
The website stores the visitor’s analytics choice in browser local storage. The key is versioned from the consentVersion value in config/site-config.js. It is used to remember whether optional analytics was accepted or rejected.
YouTube workflow video
The website does not contact YouTube when the page first opens. A local poster is shown first. When the visitor selects “Play workflow video”, the website creates the YouTube embedded player and the browser connects to YouTube. YouTube may then use cookies, local storage or similar technologies according to its own settings and policies.
Optional campaign analytics
Where a Meta Pixel ID is configured and the visitor agrees, the website can record a page view, YouTube workflow-video milestones, review-request intent and a completed review-request event on the dedicated confirmation page.
Changing your choice
Use the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. The choice will be cleared and the banner will appear again.
Before launch
- Confirm the Meta Pixel ID belongs to the correct MELIEXIA business account.
- Test that no optional analytics request is made before agreement.
- Record the cookies and technologies actually observed before and after loading the YouTube player.
- Update this page whenever providers or measurement purposes change.
